DEDA Teen Level Teams
Ages 10+  years

JAZZ TEAM - AGES: 10-15 YRS

REQUIREMENTS  - 1 Jazz class & Jazz Team Rehearsal plus 1 Ballet Class a week

(addl classes: Acro, Hip Hop, and Modern are encouraged)

HIP HOP TEAM - AGES: 10-15 YRS

REQUIREMENTS  - 1 Hip Hop class & Hip Hop Team Rehearsal.

1 additional class in any genre. (Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Tap, Acro or Lyrical)

COSTUMES for Team Dances are paid when all recital costume charges are due in October.

We try to keep the costume for the team dance the same as the costume used for the corresponding technique class.

PERFORMANCES – Team dancers perform at 3 competitions per season and DEDA’s Holiday Show.

Nationals in the Summer is optional for team dancers.

FEES - There are entry Fees for each dance per competition.

Entry fees for each dance are multiplied by the 3 comps and then split into two payments.

First 1/2 is processed in September & Second 1/2 is processed in November.

Teams Dancers have REQUIRED Rehearsals on the Saturday before each Competition

and one additional week day rehearsal the week before  each competition. 

SUMMER CLASSES are not required but strongly suggested to keep up technique.
