Miss Jenn
Miss. Jenn has been dancing since the age of four and has loved every moment of it! She went on to become a member of the DEDA Performance Company and later earned both her B.S. in Elementary Education and B.A. in Dance from James Madison University, along with an endorsement to teach dance in public schools. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration.
By day, Miss Jenn teaches third grade in the West Milford School District, and since 2011 she has proudly been part of the DEDA teaching family. She loves blending learning and movement and has created a Reading Through Dance program, choreographed school musicals and videos, taught dance camps, and written, choreographed, and directed an anti-bullying musical that earned a National School Character Award.
Miss Jenn continues to share her passion by choreographing for school Halloween parades, holiday performances, and end-of-year celebrations. Her favorite part of teaching is helping dancers of all ages build confidence, express themselves, and discover the joy that dance brings.
When she’s not in the classroom or the studio, Miss Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, their two young children, Gavin and Savannah and their golden retriever, Belle.
