We are proud to offer you the finest dance instruction: a qualified, experienced, caring dance faculty, and an enthusiastic and positive atmosphere where your child (or you) can grow and excel. Our committed faculty provides you with personal attention so your child can achieve a sense of accomplishment, one of the unique gifts of a dance education.
Director/Owner Lisa Simko Schumann has maintained our high standards for 23 years. We offer Sussex County, NJ's finest instruction in the greatest variety of dance styles. Dance Expression has a tradition of teaching excellence. We emphasize the creative, performing and educational aspects of dance. Included in our schedule are classes in Classical Ballet, Jazz Dance, Modern Dance, Tap, and Hip Hop. We have programs for serious, pre-professional students as well as recreational enthusiasts. Appropriate instruction is available for everyone from 2 1⁄2 year-olds through to adults.
We also offer introductory Dance and Tumbling classes for pre-school dancers, Mommy & Me Classes, and Recreational Dance Classes for adults which include Adult Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Fitness.

Our goal is to develop the potential of each dancer as an individual and as a member of the group while enhancing their love of dance.
We achieve that goal by encouraging each student to be comfortable and confident, no matter their level. We teach each dancer to train the mind and body as one, and to develop focus, grace and poise that serve them well, on and off the dance floor. We discourage competition between students and encourage each student to fulfill their potential.For the more serious students, we offer the opportunity to become a member of our Performance Dance Company.
