Dance Expression dance arts classes run from September through the beginning of June, culminating with our annual Spring Performance, held at Walkill Valley High School on the 1st Saturday of June. The curriculum is designed for the student who enters in September and studies throughout the school year. Classes may be entered on a space available basis through February. Summer Intensives, Workshops and technique Sessions are also offered anually. TUITION - is based on the September thru May Dance Season. We offer 2 payment plan options: Monthly Payment plan - 9 equal payments, due on the first of each month (Sept. – May) or Tri-mester Payment Plan – 3 equal payments due on the first of Sept. – Dec. - Mar.(The Tri-mester plan is discounted for the advance payments) FEES - Classes missed due to illness may be made up in another class of an appropriate level within one month. One cancelled class per dance calendar year will not be rescheduled and is included in the dance season. Any additional classes cancelled by the studio for weather, etc., will be rescheduled or assigned to another class. SPRING PERFORMANCE - Students are invited to participate in our annual Spring Performance. The cost is not included in tuition. Students will be asked to buy costumes. Parents, friends, etc., who wish to watch the show must purchase a ticket. Specific information about the Performance will be given out early in the new year. COSTUME FEES: A costume fee is charged for each costume for the annual recital which is held in June. Costume payments are made by October 15. If your child is not performing, we must have notice no later than November 15th as costumes are ordered at that time. If your child withdraws from classes after costumes are ordered, the costume deposit and the costume are forfeited. No refunds, credits or exchanges on costumes. STUDIO POLICY and RULES
NOTE: Dance sweaters may be worn in class. All Classes: Hair MUST be off the face. i.e., bun, braid, ponytail - NO JEWELRY – NO T-SHIRTS – NO TANK TOPS *Teachers reserve the right to deny a student's participation in class if the dress code is not respected!
