Dance Expression dance arts classes run from September through the beginning of June, culminating with our annual Spring Performance, held at Walkill Valley High School on the 1st Saturday of June. Summer Intensives, Workshops and technique Sessions are also offered anually.
TUITION - is based on the September thru May Dance Season. We offer 2 payment plan options: Monthly Payment plan - 9 equal payments, due on the first of each month (Sept. – May) or Tri-mester Payment Plan – 3 equal payments due on the first of Sept. – Dec. - Mar.(The Tri-mester plan is discounted for the advance payments)
Payment in full is required, regardless of class attendance. Refunds are not given for classes missed or unattended. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable. (There will be a $35 fee for any returned checks.)
FEES - Classes missed due to illness may be made up in another class of an appropriate level within one month. One cancelled class per dance calendar year will not be rescheduled and is included in the dance season. Any additional classes cancelled by the studio for weather, etc., will be rescheduled or assigned to another class.
Cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced on the studio answering machine and listed on the web site. Refunds or credits will not be given for missed lessons. The only exceptions are prolonged illness or injury verified by a doctor's note.
• Consistent delinquent payments on accounts over 30 days may result in the suspension of that student's participation in class.
• No credit will be given for any missed classes (including extended absence due to extended vacations, etc). Students have one month to make up missed classes.
• No student will participate in the recital until all fees, late fees, and costume fees are received and cleared.
• If needed, please call the office to set up an alternate payment plan. We do not want to deny any student the opportunity to dance if a viable solution is available.
SPRING PERFORMANCE - Students are invited to participate in our annual Spring Performance. The cost is not included in tuition. Students will be asked to buy costumes.
COSTUME FEES: A costume fee is charged for each costume for the annual recital which is held in June. A deposit is due on October 15 with the balance due on February 1st. If your child is not performing, we must have notice no later than November 30th as costumes are ordered at that time. If your child withdraws from classes after costumes are ordered, the costume deposit and the costume are forfeited. No refunds, credits or exchanges on costumes. Parents, friends, etc., who wish to watch the show must purchase a ticket. Specific information about the Performance will be given out early in the new year.
